Chapter 1: Bricks, Beads and Bones
- In this chapter you will learn about Harappan Civilisation, also known as Indus Valley Civilisation and it is the oldest Civilisation of India.

Chapter 5: Through the Eyes of Travellers
- In the medieval period many foreign travellers visited India. They came to India for many reasons.
- Most of the travellers who came to India wrote their own point of view about India.
Chapter 6: Bhakti- Sufi Traditions
- From the 8th-18th century the Bhakti Movement started, Islam and Sufi movement played an important role during this time in India.
- The Alvars and the Nayanars were known as the founders of the Bhakti movement in the south part of India.
